Project Wall North: Stephanie Smith at Zuckerman Museum of Art

A solo Project Wall presentation of hand-pulled prints and artist books.

Learning by Osmosis II, 2024. Monoprint (woodcut, linocut, screenprint, cut paper).

Project Wall North: Stephanie Smith at the Zuckerman Museum of Art presents the work of Atlanta-based printmaker and educator Stephanie Smith, whose hand-pulled prints and artist books explore the intersections of narrative and symbolism.

Smith’s work engages themes of memory, loss, time, chance, and transformation, often layering imagery and process to create compositions that are both expressive and reflective. Her approach to printmaking incorporates a range of techniques, including woodcut, linocut, screenprint, and cut paper, resulting in richly textured works that invite close looking.

Through this presentation, Smith’s practice highlights the material and conceptual possibilities of printmaking while offering a contemplative exploration of personal and universal experiences.
